Car Insurance BMW (Car Insurance). i brought a car today from car craft and i really dont like it plus i was very pushed into it by the salesman?

i brought a car today from car craft and i really dont like it plus i was very pushed into it by the salesman? can i get my old car back off them ?????

Theres a chance that you can but i think it would be very hard and stressful and the chances that they agree is also slim. Have you signed anything? If you have signed the car over to them then no. People should stay away from car craft because that is exactly what they're like. You still agreed to buy the car, it's not the salesmans fault you have little conviction. You could probably buy it back off them. this day and age you have a cooling off period, take it back, Im sure that they have another one to suit you, see the manager if needed, explain that you were pressured to buy by salesman, explain that you were pressured to buy by salesman, --- If you signed for the car on their premises they are under no obligation to offer a cooling down period.

BMW . White smoke Astra coupe 2.2?

White smoke Astra coupe 2.2? 2 Weeks ago I purchased a Astra Bertone Coupe 2.2 on an 02 plate. It ran a bit rough and went into the garage to have - 3 new tyres, 2 track rod ends, a wheel bearing, EGR valve cleaned, full service, plugs changed, oil + oil filter changed and then it flew through its MOT. I picked it up Wednesday last week and it drove away superb. I put some Redex in with £50 worth of fuel to clear any cobwebs and away I went. 5 hours later the engine management light came on and it started smoking so back to the garage it went. After inspection they said my EGR valve needed replacing, which would not be a problem but they also told me to get rid as there was a problem with the engine. I took it home and the "check oil level" prompt came on so I checked and there was NONE in at all ! As of today - 4 days later - It runs fine when you tickle it but the minute you get to 4000rpm+ and try to get any kind of speed up white smoke billows from the back. I have checked the oil level and it is fine. HELP - I have not got a clue what this could now be. Obviously if it is a major problem I am gonna have to cut my losses and get rid - Even though I have just spent a fair bit getting it sorted. Could it possibly be the Redex working through the system, as I know it was stood for a while before I got it, Or is it something major like head gasket or something like that about to go. I would appreciate any help or feedback as I am now stuck with this. car insurance.

How To Ship RAM/DVD's/CD's? So I have two RAM chips from my old laptop in small, plastic cases that I want to sell on E-bay. How would I ship this? BMW . Ford Ka exhaust making loud buzzing 'fart cannon' type noises?

Ford Ka exhaust making loud buzzing 'fart cannon' type noises? I recently bought a 2002 1.3 Ford Ka Luxury Edition that was second or third-hand when bought. As far as I know the car has had no modifications done to it except parts being replaced through wear (it came with a fairly decent service history record etc.). However, whenever the engine is revved, especially in the lower gears and especially when changing between the gears, the car makes a very loud noise, the best way I can really describe it is a sort of low-pitched 'buzzing' noise, almost as though the car is fitted with a custom back box or something. However I have checked the underside of the car and it just has the standard Ford exhaust plus a chrome exhaust trim which I believe is fitted to all Luxury Ka models and should not affect the noise an exhaust makes at all(?). Also, I have checked the engine's oil, and coolant levels etc. which are all fine and the engine is in a good condition, whilst it's not a major problem as it is (in some ways its quite cool with a more powerful sounding exhaust), I'm just cautious that it IS unusual for a Ka to sound like this as the last one I owned (same spec. minus Luxury features) did not make this noise, neither does anyone else's Ka's that I know. Anyone else had this with their car's or more specifically Ka's? Any solutions or at least an explanation of why it would be sounding like this? Thanks very much in advance, Ben car insurance.

BMW . How to Remove Cylinder Heads

An engine's cylinder heads are responsible for delivering the engine's air/fuel mixture into the cylinders, as well as providing a means for the mixture to escape the engine via the exhaust pipe once it has been ignited by the spark plugs. Over time, the cylinder head's gasket can crack and/or corrode. When this occurs, oil and antifreeze mix with the air/fuel mixture inside the engine's combustion chamber, which in turn produces smoke from the exhaust pipe. Even if the gasket is not damaged, the cylinder head can crack if the engine is operated under extreme temperatures due to overheating. In either event, the first step in repairing the engine is removing the cylinder head.
Difficulty:Moderately Challenging
Instructions Things You'll Need
Wrench

Step by Step :
1
Disconnect the exhaust manifolds from the side of the cylinder heads with a wrench. There are several bolts along the length of the manifold which are used to hold the manifold to the head. Once the bolts have been removed, pull the exhaust manifold away from the engine to disconnect it.
2
Remove the distributor from the intake manifold. The engine's distributor is installed through the top of the intake manifold, usually towards the back of the manifold. Remove the spark plug wires from the top of the distributor by gasping the wire where it meets the distributor and pulling each wire away from the distributor. Use a wrench to remove the single bolt which holds the distributor to the top of the intake manifold, then pull the distributor straight up to remove it.
3
Remove the spark plug wires which attach to the spark plugs on the cylinder heads by pulling each wire away from each plug.
4
Remove the valve covers from the top of each cylinder head. The valve covers attach to the cylinder head with a number of bolts located around the lip of the valve cover, which can be removed with a wrench. Once the bolts have been removed, pull the valve cover off of the cylinder head.
5
Remove the intake manifold. The intake manifold attaches to the cylinder heads with several bolts located on the sides of the manifold. Remove these bolts with a wrench, then pull the intake manifold away from the engine.
6
Remove the rocker arms and pushrods from the top of each cylinder head. There is one rocker arm and one pushrod per valve. Remove the single nut located on top of each rocker arm with a wrench, then lift the rocker arm off of the cylinder head. Once the rocker arm has been removed, pull the pushrod up through the cylinder head to remove it.
7
Remove the cylinder head by withdrawing each of the cylinder head's retaining bolts with a wrench, then by lifting the cylinder head off of the engine.

BMW . How to Remove GM Plastic Rivets

The plastic rivets in GM vehicles hold the inner wheel well lining in place. Without this lining water, dirt and other debris could get trapped in the engine bay or damage drive belts. In the passenger cabin, the plastic rivets are responsible for holding down the carpet and other trim pieces. If you need to repair any of the structural components of your vehicle, these rivets must be removed.
Difficulty:Easy
Instructions Things You'll Need
Flathead screwdriver
Shop rag

Step by Step :
1
Place the rag over the end of the screwdriver. Hold the screwdriver so that the cloth is stretched semi-tight over the end of the screwdriver. You need the cloth to prevent damage to the surrounding trim when you pry up the rivet.
2
Locate the rivet you wish to remove and gently wedge the screwdriver under the head of the rivet. Work the screwdriver all the way around the edge of the head to loosen the rivet.
3
Place your thumb over the top of the head of the rivet and pull up on the rivet. You must be careful when removing GM rivets because the head of the rivet may come off.
4
Once the rivet is loose and pops up, you can simply pull the rivet out the rest of the way with your fingers.

Part V: He| in g Your Car Look lts Best p not require much work at all. You have nothing to lose by trying to do minor bodywork yourself. If you fail, you can always take the car to a body shop anyway! Here are some situations that you may want to tackle: i*0 If the paint has simply flaked or has been scratched off the surface, follow the instructions for touching up paint later in this chapter. Before you prime and paint the vehicle, take care of any rust, dings, or dents that you find. By taking care of all these things at once, you can then put the final coats on all of them at the same time and have a car that looks wonderful. c* If the metal has been pushed in and hasn't been badly creased, you can try to pop the metal back into place with a rubber plunger (the kind they call a plumber's helper). Just moisten the edge of the rubber, place the plunger over the dent, establish suction by pressing down on the handle, and then pull it toward you. It may take a couple of tries before the metal pops back to normal. This technique works especially well on large expanses of metal, such as doors and fenders, if they have only been bent inward. u0 If you have small dents, you can attempt to hammer them out by placing a flat piece of metal (with a rag wrapped around it to protect the paint from scratching) on the outer side of the car and banging the dent from the underside with a flat-ended hammer. Be very careful to bang the underside of the dent only, and not the surrounding area, or you'll end up with a couple of new bumps to deal with. Work from the shallow sides of the dent toward the deeper areas and avoid overworking the metal, which stretches it. v* If you have very small dings or places where the paint has chipped, you can fill them in with glazing putty, which is very easy to handle. Use a putty knife to apply it, following the directions on the package, and then prime and paint the area. If the damaged area is larger than a very small, shallow ding, you need to resort to a plastic body filler. The next section tells you how to use one. The new specialty shops that just fix dents and dings are inexpensive. Take 1075 Car Insurance 2003 mitsubishi eclipse gtspyderconvertible2d 448083

your vehicle in and get an estimate before you commit yourself to doing any bodywork yourself. It may cost you so much less in time and effort than struggling through a learning process that having the work done profession ally will be cheaper in the long run! Fitting Smalt Dents and Hates Dents and holes can be repaired in one of two ways. As I mentioned earlier, you should have large damaged areas repaired by having a professional replace or straighten the body panels. You can fill smaller indentations with plastic body filler. Many people refer to the process of using plastic body filler as bondoing. Although "bondo" has become a synonym for all car body fillers, Bondo is really the commercial name of a variety of auto body-repair products put out by one company. Many plastic compounds are on the market for filling small holes, dents, and creases in the surface of your car. Buy a good-quality product (the cheap stuff may break loose or flake away) and follow the directions on the package closely. Most kits contain at least two substances: the filler itself and a hardener, which you mix with the filler before you use it. An all-purpose kit may contain filler, hardener, spot-and-glaze putty, screening for filling holes, applicators, and a can of spray primer. Check carefully at the auto supply store to find the kit with the easiest instructions that can do the job for you as simply as possible. The salespeople should be helpful if you tell them that this is your first attempt at bodywork. To give you an idea of how to apply plastic body filler, here are a few general instructions that suit most situations (but be sure to read and follow the directions on the product you buy): 1. Clean the body area thoroughly to remove all traces of dirt, wax, or rust. You can find instructions for cleaning your car in Chapter 23. 2. Sand the area before you apply the filler, using #180 or #220 aluminum oxide sandpaper (you can find it at an auto supply store).

Because body fillers don't stick to paint, you must sand the area. When sanding, be sure to feather-edge (blend) the paint edges to prevent the old paint from chipping up through the new paint in the future and to ensure a good bond. Work inward from the edges of the dent to avoid enlarging the damaged area. 3. Mix only as much hardener-filler as you're going to use right away. The hardener-filler combination starts to harden immediately, so mix only what you need. Mix up a relatively small batch at a time, using the proportions recommended on the can, and then mix up more when you
